Our high powered therapeutic laser is one of the fastest, most effective modalities therapists currently have to treat pain and inflammation and accelerate the healing process. Treatment times typically range between 8 and 15 minutes, are non-invasive and can significantly reduce pain and inflammation often within the first or second treatment.
980nm is not readily absorbed my melanin or hemoglobin and can therefore penetrate deeper within the body. We've conducted our own studies showing a 4" penetration of energy at the correct power density to successfully elicit healing on a cellular level. Most internet information about the depth of penetration on the 980nm stems from our research conducted nearly 2 decades ago. High watts used in treatments is only part of the equation. Reaching proper power density is the key for healing and each laser is different. The Epoch®-980 covers the full spectrum of what laser therapy offers from rapidly healing a superficial wound up to healing issues 4" deep in the body, including hard to heal problems such as herniated discs.
